Please note the following late adjustments to the Trafalgar Day events, as previously advertised.

MORPETH:  Previously listed as the short annual service on Saturday 21st October  11.45 at the Town Hall, Morpeth.    This has now been moved to 11.40 in front of Collingwood House, Oldgate, Morpeth, due to the Town Hall not being open on Saturday 21st.

TYNEMOUTH:  Previously listed as the annual Toast the Admiral event on Saturday 21st October at 11.40 at the Collingwood Monument, Tynemouth.  It is expected that Storm Babet will make the ground around the monument too wet and unsafe in the days running up to the event.  North Tyneside Council have therefore implemented a contingency plan and the event has been moved to the Tynemouth Volunteer Life Brigade Watch House, starting at the same time 11.40 (assemble from 11.20)  Stewards will be on hand to redirect those attending.  The ceremony programme will be as near as possible to that originally planned and the Admiral will receive his customary toast.
