Society Member and naval architect David Byrne returns to the stage to talk this time about the challenges of towing ‘dead ships’ after a sea battle, be they either disabled allied vessels or damaged enemy prizes. Last time around, David made complex technical terms seem almost understandable to the layman – we anticipate we will all be experts in this particular field by the end of the evening as well.
