A’ Collingwood Society Quiz and Social Evening’: Join us for our first end-of-year ‘pub-quiz’.  Themed lightly towards matters maritime/Trafalgar/Georgian Navy/Collingwood and Nelson, with a few ‘curve-balls’ thrown in, the emphasis will be on fun, rather than academic prowess!  Entry for all, be they Society members or guests, will be £1 per head.  Teams of between 4 and 6 are preferred, each with a suitable name please.  If you are not part of an organised team beforehand, then just come along, join other ‘lost souls’ and make up the numbers.  A cash bar will be available, as will some light refreshments.  Rules apply mind….  no portable signalling devices to contact ‘friends’ or ‘scan distant horizons’!  There will be prizes and we promise none will be a £10 voucher to be spent at the 2016 quiz….
