Society Member Nigel Collingwood only started looking into his ancestors when he retired and moved north to Morpeth. He has since identified family members back to the 16th century, a number of whom had maritime connections. Tonight, he will share those results and explain a little of the process of his research in a presentation titled ‘An Admiral on our Shoulder’.
