Assemble in Town Hall from 11.30 hrs. Celebratory peal of bells from the Clock Tower at 12.00 hrs. | Ample parking in various car parks near the Town Hall. |
| Sunday 22nd October 2023 | 15.00 hrs | St. Mary’s Churchyard (Heritage Centre), GATESHEAD | Regular commemorative tribute to John William Trotter, Master of HMS LEVIATHAN at the Battle of Trafalgar. Public event. | Short service at the grave of Trotter, followed by refreshments inside the Centre. Assemble in the Heritage Centre from 14.30 hrs. | Next to the south end of the Tyne Bridge, adjacent to the Sage Music Centre, good bus services, limited parking at the Church, but plenty by the Sage. |
