Saturday 21st October 2023 | 11.40 hrs | Collingwood Monument, TYNEMOUTH | Regular ‘Toast the Admiral’ public event, hosted by North Tyneside Council. Cdr. J Williams RN will deliver the oration.

Saturday 21st October 2023 | 11.45 hrs | Town Hall, MORPETH | Regular commemorative public event. | Short service by the bust of the Admiral in the foyer, Morpeth Town Hall. Assemble in Town Hall from 11.30 hrs. Celebratory peal of bells from the Clock Tower at 12.00 hrs. | Ample parking in various car parks near the Town Hall. |
Sunday 22nd October 2023 | 15.00 hrs | St. Mary’s Churchyard (Heritage Centre), GATESHEAD | Regular commemorative tribute to John William Trotter, Master of HMS LEVIATHAN at the Battle of Trafalgar. Public event. | Short service at the grave of Trotter, followed by refreshments inside the Centre. Assemble in the Heritage Centre from 14.30 hrs. | Next to the south end of the Tyne Bridge, adjacent to the Sage Music Centre, good bus services, limited parking at the Church, but plenty by the Sage. |
